The main purpose of the conference involve &#8211;<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;Highlight the mental health and psychosocial challenges of individuals, families, communities affected by natural and man-made disasters<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Convergence of ideas and mutual learning from different stakeholders involved in Disaster Management<\/li>\n\n<li>Serve as platform for networking, collaborations, and partnership among professionals, organizations, sectors and thus foster a multidisciplinary approach to Disaster Management<\/li>\n\n<li>Promotion and advocacy for prioritizing mental and psychosocial well-being of disaster affected people. Pushing for global, national, local levels policy changes to ensure more funding, resources, and attentions towards MHPSS services<\/li>\n\n<li>Identify and address gaps in the field of Disaster Management and Climate change, particualrly with respect to their psychosocial and mental health conseqeunces<\/li>\n\n<li>Become a global platform for sharing the research with peers from different disciplines relevant to MHPSS in disaster management and thus promoting interdisciplinary approach to research in mental health, disaster management, and climate change.<\/li>\n\n<li>Deliberate on possible strategies and solutions to address the gaps in mental and psychosocial well-being of individuals and groups exposed to disasters and\/or traumatic events.<\/li>\n\n<li>Hight the importance of integrating of disaster management knowledge into mainstream academic and research institutions.<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This event will serve as a convergence point for diverse perspectives, knowledge exchange, fostering collaborations across organizations from public, private, and social sectors, and the development of best practices for managing the psychosocial impacts of individuals, families, and communities.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To explore how various types of disasters\u2014natural, man-made, and climate change-induced\u2014trigger complex emotional, psychological, and social challenges.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To address the compounded effects of violence, internal conflicts, and displacement, with particular focus on
